  • Hi Cephalonia1, An energy performance certificate (EPC) will change in cost depending on where you get it from. If you go directly to a provider that does the certifying, then it will cost quite a bit less, for example, than if you chose to do it through your estate agent. In general, they will cost anywhere between £60 and £120, depending on who you decide to go with for it, though. The best way to make sure you get the best price, as with anything, is to just shop around. Find a few different quotes first and foremost and then simply choose the one which is cheapest or best for you. Many thanks, Scott

  • Hi, As Scott said, the prices do vary dramatically in some cases. Nevertheless a Google search will no doubt lead you to companies that are charging less than £60 in today's competitive market. Good luck with your search!
