Are house prices starting to increase again?

    Hi riley42.... Million dollar question! Often you can see some roads performing better than others so it is always hard to tell with so few transactions taking place if an upward trend is definately happening. My opinion: I think they are rising slightly, not massively and in a way a moderate increase is what we want nothing to steep and crazy. Time will tell but there is certainly a huge increase in applicants coming to the books and viewings taking place so there is a "wish to buy" taking place and the gap between offers and asking prices seems to be closing. Hope this helps, only my opinion.

    They will rise again in 2013, everyone is waiting for the bottom of the market, but this was 2009. Prices have risen, and will rise again. Not by leaps and bounds, but they will rise slowly, they always do! I would advise anyone being pestered by their agents to reduce price, think carefully about marketing next year instead.
