Well seeing as you wrote this a year ago, values have probably dropped about 10-15% since then. Chichester will always be considered an area of high demand, we didn't see the kind of high rise apartments and mass building that many major towns did, mainly because of the strict building policies implemented by the council here. For instance, building within the city walls is almost impossible. Some properties have retained their values even better than this, not moving at all. Because of Chichester's proximity to the water, houses in Birdham, Del Quay, Itchenor and Wittering have hardly been affected at all.
