Why prices in RM8 is less than RM6

I see properties of similar size between RM6 & RM8 differ by 40K. any specific reason? is RM8 not a safe area or other lack of amenities .. like school, transport etc ? regards Swati

  • Hi Swati b 7, There can be a number of different reasons why one area differs greatly in price to another in certain areas. For example, access to local amenities and train stations, or as you say, things like the crime rate and how nice the area is deemed to be in general. Another factor can be the distance to the town or city centre, and given that the more expensive property in your example is RM6, it is likely that this is closer to the centre of the town, which means that it will have better access to shops and other facilities. Many thanks, Scott
