Flat in listed building for sale...
Hello, We live in a beautiful listed building dated from 1820. We have a one bedroom flat and because I'm pregnant we need to move and sell this lovely place. This amazing and unique property is very rare and we don't want to sell it through estate agents...possibly auction it. Our flat is from Georgian period, has high ceilings and great history behind it. This is just in short...is there anyway we could contact people who LOVE and appreciate old listed houses, properties? Would you give me any tips how to find right buyers? Thank you in advance.

If you don't want to sell it through an agent there are plenty of privately for sale websites, property such as yours do not normally command open market value at auctions, as typically the buyers here are looking for an investment opportunity, ie a bargain. It may be worth considering a specialist estate agent opposed to your run of the mill high street as they will have a good connection of clients.
