Selling a property quickly?

Hi, If a property has changed hands 2-3 times in the last 10 years, will there be any impact on buying or selling price compares to a similar property which was not on the market for 10 years?

  • As always, it depends... A property that has not been on the market for a long time maybe, as agents say, "in need of updating". Which can be attractive to some buyers as it may indicate an older style property that has not been ruined by 'improvements'. But in that context 10 years is not long enough. If a property has been sold rather frequently the obvious question any buyer will ask is is "what is wrong with it". But on the whole I doubt if it will matter much.

  • Hi, There should be no negative reason to this, but it's good to get the property thoroughly checked out anyway just in case. Good luck! Jonathan :-)
