My house has been on sale for 3 weeks, no viewings

We have been on the market for 3 weeks, we are having lots of hits on the agents websites but these are not converting into viewings. The house has been put to market for the valuation 2 estate agents gave so we haven't overvalued, so why are people not viewing? Is it the current market?

  • It all depends on the area how busy the local market is. Also depends on the agents and where they advertise and how proactive they are.

  • I agree with above, also look at the price you are on at in relation to other similar properties in your area. Occasionally some agents will value a property a little higher for the first few weeks to test the water and then suggest a reduction. It may not be anything to do with price, you may just need to give it a little more time.
