House prices in Harpenden?

Has the property market in Harpenden hit rock bottom for a semi to be sold for £175,000 when similar properties in the same street, without a double garage, are being sold for twice that?

  If you are referring to a property on Coleswood Road, it was a private deal so I think something dodgy was going on tax wise!!
