I have seen a house on Abbey Park Road, asking price is 80 to 95. It needs a lot of work, what offer do you think I should put in?

  • They are probably looking for something between those figures, I would have a look at, have a look on Zoopla for what else is on the market and judge from that.

  • I would stick in an offer of 77k. Start off low, after all it's only 3k less than lower mark :-)

  • I would say 77 then go up 500 at a time if they knock you back on it. Try and find out what was the last sale price this might give you some idea what its worth or check out sale prices in the area. Think about what funds you have get a builder to take a look at it with you he might put you wise.

  • I've just recently purchased a property. so my advice would be start low as you can only go higher afterwards. start at around 70 or even 65 if needing alot of work.
