Discount on asking price in recession?
Can I submit an offer 2% below the asking price for a house in Thonock Close Lincoln LN2?

Of course you can. You would be better offering 10% or more below asking price and negotiating upwards from there if the seller does not want to sell at that figure. Why 2%? You may as well be offering the asking price and get the house purchased if you really want it. Hope that helps. Spike

You can offer any price you like. Never make an offer based on what the seller wants for a property. Decide for yourself the value and if the asking price still seems reasonable try and negotiate yourself a deal.
