Looking for a quote!!!

Hi, I am an Aussie who is moving over to London in a few months. I am enquiring in regards to an approximate quote on how much a 3 bedroom furnished house/flat/any form of living space will be. The closer to central london the better but we are not picky. How much is an approximate value for a place such as this and more importantly, what do bonds usually cost?

  • Hi Willie. Best of luck for your move to London soon. Central London is very very expensive but there are lots of areas that you can rent further out from the centre that are cheaper. Our tube network is always moaned about but it is great, though overcrowded at peak times. My advice is to look for access to a tube station and/or bus transport. Travel can be costly but cheaper in the long run to rent slightly away from the centre and travel into town as and when you need to. I am in South Tottenham, Haringey which is well served by tube lines - there are two lines and several stations within walking distance that bring you into the centre of London. Also there are good overground links into the centre of London and of course out to the coast or countryside. Best of luck and I hope you like your visit to London.
