How much is my house worth?
I am planning to buy the house I've been renting for the past 2 years. We got a few estate agents to value the house, but they all gave too high valuations (probably influenced by the recently sold prices of a couple of houses in the neighborhood which had been renovated and extended). How do I get a more realistic valuation of the house?

I would look at what other similar properties are selling for in the area and go on the market under the lowest price. If you are in a hurry to sell, the estate agent should price it to sell. The trouble with ‘some’ estate agents is they are stuck in .2007. Don't price your property down, just price it competitively.
