How to value an off-street car park?

How do you value an off-street car park? At the front of our building is a small car park. It is currently owned by the collective freeholders with no lease assigned to any leaseholder/freeholder. How much should a leaseholder/freeholder pay to have the car park added to their lease? There does not seem to be much or any information on the internet about this.

  • Hi, very much supply and demand locally really. You could find some locally to rent and then times the annual cost by about 10 or 12 to get a 'freehold' value. A local surveyor would value formally at a cost of £200 ish I suspect.
