Offer too much but it has been accepted?
Offer too much and it has been accepted. Do not want to be rude, is it common for people to amend the offer or revise offer?

You can change your mind up to the point you exchange contracts. It’s seen as bad form to do this just before the exchange of contracts and you have racked up lawyers fees! Remember it’s your money and if you feel you are paying too much you can withdraw or reduce your offer. (You should try to express a reason why) However don't be surprised if the seller doesn't want to deal with you. It’s ok to slightly overpay to get the place your going to live in, but be happy because later in the process you will change your mind.
