Have property prices in London fallen this month, should I buy now?

  • Looks like. Sellers/agents overpricing the property will not find buyers as they are looking good value of their money.

  • Hi Charstan, As far as I am aware, it is quite the opposite in London at the moment, with property prices rising at a very fast rate time and time again throughout this year. In October, the introduction of the second phase of the Help to Buy phase meant that there were more buyers in the market, and with the number of homes for sale remaining low, prices are always likely to swell in this situation. Some reports even put the increase in prices in London in October as high as ten per cent for that one month alone. That's not to say that it's necessarily not time to buy in London though. Some experts are predicting that there could be price rises for the next five years at least, and the capital normally always leads the way on this. Many thanks, Scott
