Does a house being next door to a pub bring down its' value?
If a house is a semi-detached and the house it adjoins is a public house, does this devalue it?

It could make it harder to sell, as a lot of people would worry about noise, drunks or anti-social behaviour. But all that can happen anywhere and some people might like to live next to a pub. I think with any property, there is a buyer out there who would see it as ideal. I wouldn't like to say being next door to a pub would de-value it as such, just consider that it might take longer to find a buyer.

Yes, it can affect the valuation and perhaps lending as well.
