Are property prices back where they were in 2004?

I'd say they were roughly where they were in 2005/6, so a bit higher than 2004. As previously stated, it depends on the area.

Agree with the previous answer. We (in Bristol) are back to 2006 prices.

Very much depends on type of property - some houses in good areas of Leeds are not far from peak but flats are well below - yes 2004/5 is not a bad estimate but some as low as 2002/3 as a bargain/repo and they get snapped up.

Very good question. Answer is probably yes in some areas, no in others, but generally very nearly. Flats are nowhere near, units that cost £100k in 2004 are probably worth £60k.
