Purchase of leasehold garden flat
I have had a survey done, the interim verbal account to poss subsidence, with evidence of work being done. The Ground floor is responsible for the foundations. The top flat covers the roof. I have now since heard that the owners upstairs own the Freehold. Alarm bells are starting to ring esp, as there have been 3 sales in a short space of time. Am I right to be so negative. They had already accepted an offer and came back to me as I am Cash Buyer. Any help appreciated

I am not sure I fully understand what your are saying but if you are buying a Leasehold flat where the building itself has structural issues and you are not in control of the repairs or aware of what repairs are needed and the cost to you then don't buy it.
