Unable to find a property price that went to sealed bids

A property I was interested in went to sealed bids and has sold. I'm unable to find the eventual price on Land Registry or Zoopla, why is this the case?

  • Hi Michael, it usually takes a few months for properties to appear on Land Registry records. When roughly was it sold?

  • The sale may have been to a company (or for a number of other reasons) in which case the sale will not be included in the Price Paid Data released by the Land Registry and used by Zoopla et al. Although not included in the PPD the value of the transaction may be recorded in the registration document which can be obtained online from Land Registry for a small fee.

  • The Property was sold in September 2016. I've seen some properties listed after that on the registry. That is why i was asking, as i thought it would have been listed by now
