Hi, My husband and I are planning on buying a property in Green Ridges, Headington, Oxford. Since the flat is close to the motorway and the hum of the motorway can be heard from our rear garden, I was wondering if this might put off future buyers of the property and so might affect the selling price? PLease advice! Cheers Manjita

  • Well, it might probably put off future buyers as buyers usually like to have peace at rear gardens and in the house. This would also lead to the deduction of the price as the buyers aren't as satisfied. Well, my advice is that if you want to overcome this problem, you could keep the house as new as possible. Or basically, if you are satisfied with this property then i think that future buyers might have the same view as you do.
