I've looked up sold house prices for a few houses. How do I find out which estate agent sold the property so I can get its details? Thanks.

  • The only way is to go to the local agents and ask them what they sold in that area or street and hopefully they will be able to help you.

  • Actually you can find out who sold it, but only if the agent has advertised it on Zoopla. You simply go to: - Zoopla.co.uk Click on Current values Click on UK property values Type in the postcode of the property Then have a look down the list until you find the number of the house you are looking for If there is a photo of the house next to the number, then the property details will be there, so click on this and then scroll down to the bottom of the page until you find property history. Click on this and scroll down to the bottom where you will find details of the last known selling agent. If the property was sold less than 3 months ago, then land registry will probably not have updated itself and it will probably not appear. Hope this helps!
