House prices - Reigate
Why are the asking prices of houses in Reigate (or anywhere else for that matter) so much more than the Zoopla valuations? It's driving me mad because in most cases houses seem to be at least £100,000 or more than Zoopla.

Zoopla valuations are worked out purely on averages. Reigate just happens to be one of those areas that performs well above the average so the asking prices and actual sold prices you are seeing will reflect that. Remember that any house is purely worth what the next person is prepared to pay for it !!!

Zoopla may not have information on home improvements/extensions that have been carried out on a property since the last sale date.
