What is the meaning of "no chain", vendor, "no forward chain" when selling a house?

It means that you will not have to wait for the seller of the property to find another house to buy and therefore the sale should be able to go through more quickly. Also you would not have the potential added complications of a chain of lots of people trying to move, things can go at your pace rather than being dictated by everyone else.

No chain or no forward chain mean exactly the same thing, that the person you are buying off are not making a forward purchase that effects you. Vendor is simply the seller of the house your are interested in.
