  • Currently prices have Year on year house price growth slowed to 6.1%, and is expected to slow further as the small increases in 2010 fail to match the larger gains of a year ago. However the market conditions are one that could be vulnerable to current government cut backs so we feel the market may snake across the next 12 months.

  • It could be some time away, at least for any significant rise. I doubt anyone can predict this with any real certainty.

  • It is always difficult to predict anything with the housing market, whilst supply and demand are key with any market until lenders start to loosen their purse strings and lend more to more, growth will be slow. Once we see the return of 95%, 100% and even the good old 125% mortgage couple with high multiples mortgages prices will once again start soaring. Believe me the exact same comments regarding irreponsible lending and it will never be allowed to happen again were bounded around late eighties early nineties.
