May I suggest that you register on MousePrice.com. Insert the Post Code of the property you might be interested in and this will give you data on all of the properties which have been sold, by registering you will then be able to get a valuation figure for any property in that road which is used by numerous lenders in determining how much a property is actually worth, you can then use this data to guage whether a property is over priced in the current market.
