The property market in general, is getting busy for this time of year. We are finding that the offers are increasing not the property prices. (i.e 2 years ago properties where receiving offers at 16% to 20% less market value, now we find that’s increased to 6% to 9%. The market is showing signs of recovery but this needs to be realistic to the areas, locations not the likes of London where the markets has increased in value due to overseas investments ect.

You can find out how certain areas of the country are performing by making use of the Zoopla website. At the top of this page, you'll see a tab that says "current values". Hover over this and choose the top option on the dropdown menu.
The page that will open will show you the price of specific houses in a specified area that you will be able to search for. You will also be able to set parameters, and from this you can check how prices have changed in the last month, year, and beyond.
At the moment, though, it's worth noting that prices across the country are generally on the rise. Although this is not true of all areas, high demand and a relatively low supply of properties means that prices are going up all the time.
