Buying a part exchange

What are my rights when buying a property which has been part exchanged for a new build? The owner is still in it and won't let a surveyor in, Taylor Wimpey don't care as they do not own it yet, but still cannot get into property and they wan't too exchange contract on Friday. Help

  • Don't exchange without a survey. It is in the owners interest to let the surveyor in

  • Hi, You will not be able to move in until your survey has been done and mortgage released. Are you purchasing this with a mortgages and if so for that matter has this property been has the bank or building society already been out to survey the property?
