This is to rent a property with a 20 yr old

If two of you move out at 16, do both parents have to be guarantors?

  • Hi, in order to sign a contract in the UK you need to be 18 years old or older. Each individual letting agent will have different requirements as to guarantors so it will be worth checking with them.

  • What about renting in Woolwich, London (Expensive) or Newcastle Upon Tyne (cheap)? You might be able to get rooms in these places but need to contact directly with the landlords.
