Can I rent a flat at 16?

Me and my boyfriend want to move out, I'm in full time employment so we have the money but we wont have parental consent, can we still rent a place?

  • No I'm afraid not you must be at least 18 to rent to a flat, whether you are in full time employment or not.

  • Yes, but it would be very difficult to find some one who would be prepared to rent to some one of that age.
