Where do we think the demand on the rental market is going??

  • What seems to be happening is that because of the current climate, people are unable to get mortgages like they were able to a few years ago. This means that a lot more people are looking to rent and are happy to rent for longer terms.

  • It's very steady for the most part however landlords should be aware that due to higher than average unemployment around the UK, there is a greater chance of a tenant defaulting on rental payments however many companies and letting agents have recognised this problem and can offer suitable insurance products to ensure rent is guaranteed. Demand differs in every area, right down to within 1/4 mile of each property however there is always a safe purchase to buy for rental purposes, you'd be as well to contact a local agent such as ourselves to discuss what tenants who speak to us want.
