Family with 3 children, what is Brislington like to live in?

Is it a good respectable area? safe? good schools? please let me know and if this is not a good area, which are? Thank you.

    Brislington has the new academy school, but from what I hear, its still Brislington High which has had a mixed bag of reviews...one of my closest friends went to Brislington High and he's just finished his Masters at Manchester Uni...but it is what you would expect from an inner city area. Some good parts, some not so good parts. West Town Lane is a very nice road, and any roads near the golf club. Could you widen your search just a little more maybe? Less than 2 miles away, you will find Keynsham. Some of the best schools this side of Bristol will be found there and the access to the ring road is very easy. Lots to discuss, so please contact me should you require further advice. I'm only happy to help.
