Your local newspaper in the classifieds, put up a card in newsagents. Gumtree is also very popular and you can list for free but may be worth refreshing it as so much new property becomes added and any advertisement will drop down the pages quickly.

For free GumTree is the best but keep an eye out as I hear they will be charging a fee soon just like they do in London... :(

The best site is Gumtree but also put an ad in your local press. Maybe consult an agent to find you a tenant and they will be able to advertise and reference the tenant on your behalf.

Let the NHS know and MOD, send them an email and they will put it on their list, but so many Letting Agents now are good value for money and they do lots of checks to make sure you are getting a good tenant. I know its a little more expensive, but it may be worth while looking in to.
