Does Burton-upon-trent have a buoyant rental market? What type of houses are most required?

  • Hi Pebe, Most of the UK has a very buoyant rental market at the moment, mostly because many buyers cannot afford to get themselves a property and will choose to rent instead. I have checked out the average asking prices for the area you specified, and I can tell you from this that they are still currently below national averages. Although it's important to remember that these are often hard to judge because London prices skew them thanks to high demand. The homes which appear to do the best in your town though are three and four-bedroom houses. This sits in line with it being a smaller town, where family homes are in much higher demand than the flats and apartments that dominate city markets. Many thanks, Scott
