  • I would suggest looking at comparable properties on Zoopla to get an initial idea of what sort of price you list your property for. It would also be beneficial for you to contact a few local reputable agents for them to visit your property for a no obligation market appraisal.

  • Hi oceanblu, What you are looking for with something like this is to be competitive, but also to not charge so much or so little that you either put people off or end up earning yourself less than you could have. The best way to do this is to look at what other properties in the area bring in. Options are to use searches and ads to seek other homes in the same street and compare the prices, this should give you an average that you can work with to decide what is the best way forward for you. Your other option is to use the Zoopla site right here to see how your area is performing in terms of rental income. To find this statistic, you will need to hover your mouse pointer over the "sold prices" tab at the top of this page. From there, open the "area stats" page. On there, if you scroll down, you will be able to see the average cost of renting certain sizes and types of property in the selected area, which should give you a good idea of what you can charge. Many thanks, Scott
