How long is a short term let?

  • Typically a short term let will be for a period of 6 months, however some landlords will sign up for shorter dependant on their circumstances.

  • Landlords will accept shorter than 6 month let’s if they cannot secure a longer term let. It is better to have some money coming in than the house sitting on the market empty long term which makes no sense.

  • As the other answers state genrally a standard short term let is 6 months, however some landlords may consider 3 if their circumstances dictate.
