What limit does local authority contribute to rent for dss tenants?

When buying to let how much help can tenants get from local authority to pay rent? If all is paid, is it paid direct from the local authority? Can the tenant take on a higher rent and pay the remainder balance monthly themselves?

  • Yes thats how it works. If you're a single mother they pay a maximum of £400 in to either your bank or the landlords.
