  • Hi dhurst11, As mentioned above, it is normally the case that an advertised price, whether it is per month or per week, will relate to the cost for the house or flat as a whole. If it is a house of multiple occupancy (HMO), then it will state this in the listing and tell you whether the cost refers to just a room and shared amenities within the overall property. These are most common when it comes to letting to students though, so if you are looking at an agent that deals primarily with this sort of tenant it can be better to check to make sure. However, more often than not, if it is per room it will tell you this explicitly, whereas if there is no mention of this, it will be the property as a whole. Many thanks, Scott
