I think the rental market is good in the area and would start my search about 6 to 8 weeks before I need the accommodation. Rental agents can normally move quite quickly provided they have all the information they need from the prospective tenant and the property has been on their books before. So Start having a look at areas and rent differences in those areas so when you start looking seriously you know roughly what rent you should be paying for a property in a certain area limiting the chance of being taken for a ride by a local agent. . . Hope this was helpful, ThePureGroup

I would say in about 6 weeks although it might be best to start researching a little before hand to narrow down the search area and property type etc. good luck

What kind of rent are you after? Many London rentals are quick on and off the market so planning ahead isn't always necessary.

Hi, you should always give yourself a good 4 weeks to find somewhere, but there is no harm in looking now as some agents may have property that's available that kind of time
