Landlords breach of contract
Our landlord refuses to replace broken heating thermostat and timer that plumber states are broken - are not in PROPER working order. We have two and a half months left on 6 month short hold. The landlord decided to sell at end of this due to personal circumstances which we have tried to be understanding about and patient on several repairs. We have had repair problems since the day we moved in, ( flood thru kitchen ceiling light!). Now we just want out. The heating works but intermittently and no temp control - is this breach of contract under section 11 and can we use it to force early tenancy release? really appreciate any advice, thank you.
