Trouble finding somewhere to take us on to rent?

Me and my partner (both 20) and our daughter (1 years old) have recently been looking for somewhere to rent in the Essex area but whenever we go view a property we never get accepted because we do not have a high enough annual income. This is frustrating because my partner works 6 days a week and gets a £1,000+ a month and I work 1 day a week but am going to increase once i've moved out of my parents (because I can not work any more days as it will cause complications for them) so we have an annual income of £14,000 but no agency will accept this so we can never apply for a place. We try to explain that we will be able to pay all of the bills and that once we're there I can get child tax credit and my partner can get working tax credit which will bump our annual income up to £19,000 but nobody will listen. We were wondering if it was a good idea to offer 6 months rent upfront to them to be able to get a place as we have a lot of money saved up?
