When you rent your property, do you rent by the day, week, month, or year?
How much does the agent take in fees? Do you need an agent at all?

Usually properties are rented by the month, although the shortest contract is usually 6 months. Some rentals are advertised with the weekly amount, but most landlords take monthly payments. Estate agents fees vary, you can also rent property privately. Hope this helps.
