Paying rent on benefits

I live in Coventry, West Midlands and get housing benefits, how does it work here on renting? do you get housing benefits paid for renting?

    It depends I assume that you mean that you are looking for a private landlord if that is the case then it just depends which landlords take dss and which don't. I suggest looking on gumtree and local papers.

    Yes, I agree with Harrington. Try local papers, gumtree, lovemypad.com - all the usual websites that have private landlord adverts
