Renting as an under 18 year old?

Unfortunately in the eyes of the law you are still a minor and therefore not able to take a tenancy

Sadly not. Although you can drive a car, get married, have children and die for your country, you cannot be sued for money, so for example if you didn't pay your rent, the landlord couldn't do a thing. For the same reason you can't get a loan or a credit card. Never mind, you will be 18 soon enough.
