How do I go about advertising a flat to rent, and how much is it?

  • Hi, you can only advertise on Zoopla if you are an Estate Agent or Letting Agent. As a private landlord you will have to instruct an Agent and they will usual charge 5% introduction fee as my agent does. But it's worth it! Good luck :-)

  • You could only do it through an agent where you get charge a fee depending on what service you want to use. You might get charge a one of fee around £300 for finding a tenant or a management fee of around 5% to 10% in which case everything will be looked after for you. If you want to do it privately you can advertise your property on number of websites such as Gumtree or Friday ad, as a private landlord you cannot advertise on Zoopla
