Bad credit rating, DSS

I have a bad credit rating and am DSS but I do have a guarantor? Can I still rent?

  This will depend on the letting agent, landlord and the credit and referencing company that they use, as they will all have different criteria, and will also depend if the bad credit is just missed payments, bankruptcy/IVA or defaults. With a guarantor you might be ok.
