  • Speak to a couple of local letting agents, by giving them the address, number of bedrooms and general condition they should be able to give you a good idea of the rental prices. Word of advice, speak to other lettings agents as well as the selling agent.

  • It is worth getting the opinion of at least three letting agents. You can search rental prices in the area here on Zoopla and other sites like Rightmove. That will give you some idea, before you speak to the agents.

  • When you speak to letting agents make sure that you emphasise that you want a modest estimate. It is also worth pointing out that rental prices are rather seasonal and a figure that you obtain in October might be different from a realistic rental price in December.
