How can I find a pet friendly landlord??

We have pets and struggle to find a landlord who will except them

  • Unfortunately there is no register as such of properties that will accept pets. All you can do is to keep trying and hopefully, something will come up. Have you registered you details with local Letting Agents - maybe you could offer to put down a higher deposit as a sweetener?

  • A higher deposit will always help your case! it may be better to contact lettings agents or landlords directly, as they will be able to assist you on this. If you are looking to move into a specific development, then it may also be an idea to speak to the developer/concierge who will be able to inform you if they allow pets. you can then use this in your favour when speaking to the landlord.

  • Hi I'm a landlord and would be happy to let out to someome with pets as long as if its a dog it's not the size of a doberman as I have a 2 bed 2 bathroom flat but I'm just accross the road from the playing fields
