First time renting a flat

Hello i'm 18 and i finally deciding to move out of my parents house, i'm self employed i just started working from home and earn more than 2k a month, i been working for a month and i know that i will earn more than 2k, i only work 20 hours per week at the moment and when i move out im planning to work at least 40 hours so my money will increase. So i have a question, do they need to see how much i earn? Do they need payslips? All i have is my earnings for this month, would that work? If so do i need to print my earnings and show it to them? I'm new to this and i need help

  • It depends if you are going through a letting agent or a private landlord. Either may request for proof of earnings. Have you considered using your parents as guarantors?
