How much money would I need if I want to rent a flat, price is 850 pm?

It depends are you going through and agency or privately, if an agency you will need to pay a fee this is about £150-£200 check with them first obviously you will need one months rent and one months deposit.

Some agent's fees are higher than £200, also some charge 1.5 month's deposit. Your best bet is to contact the agent who has a property to rent here.
