Can I rent if I have a bad credit history?
I've just finished studying, have a bad credit score and my garantor rents their house. Is it still possible to rent on my own?

Yes, all lettings agents have different criteria in order to pass the referencing process. If you tell them your situation, they will be able to help you. I would also advise speaking to the local council of the area you are looking to move into, as they will have a list of private landlords, who may also be willing to take you on as a tenant. A way to counter-act bad credit history will also be to pay a minimum of 6 months rent in advance, therefore meaning you will not need a guarantor.
